The server. The server (back end) part
of the Venta4Net program, installed on the computer equipped
with the modem. Provides messaging between clients and the
outside world via the fax modem. Sometimes referred to the
computer on which the server end of Venta4Net is installed.
The server is defined here namely in terms
of Venta4Net. The local area network may include other computers
also called servers, not being servers from the Venta4Net
point of view.
The server administrator. A person
whose responsibilities include the installation, configuration
and support of the Venta4Net program.
A user. A person who uses the Venta4Net
program to send and receive messages.
User rights. User rights determine
the body of actions that the user is allowed to perform
when working with the program, and vise versa, the actions
that are not allowed for him or her to perform. User rights
also determine the accessibility of specific information.
The client. The client (front end)
part of the Venta4Net program, installed on a user's
computer.
A message. A facsimile (TIFF Class
F) or sound (WAV) format file suitable for the direct placement
in the schedule (scheduling).
A task. The message prepared
by a user for transmission, the phone number and the time
mask specified by the user. A task also includes
some optional (such as the recipient name, the company name,
etc.) and assigned by default (completion codes limitations)
parameters.
The schedule. The collection of tasks
created by users. The schedule is stored on the server.
